Position Overview:

Greenkeepers are responsible for maintaining the course in the pristine conditions that we pride ourselves on here at Ballyneal.

Seasonal greenkeepers will assist in the care of the golf course. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Operation of riding and walking mowers
• Mechanical and hand raking of golf course bunkers
• Hand watering of greens and tees with hoses
• Weeding and edging using string trimmers
• Blowing, weeding, and other general cleanup tasks

Requirements

• Must be able to work some weekends
• Must be able to work early in the mornings (6 am)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs infrequently and walk 4-7 miles daily
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently when working with cutting units, around loud machinery, and around golfers
• Must be responsible and timely
• Must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and be willing to learn
• Experience with and understanding of the game of golf a plus, but not required
• Experience with golf course or landscape maintenance a plus, but not required
